When counting they both throw in an extra number... so counting goes like this; "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, sixteen, seventeen, eleventeen, twenty". Eleventeen is my new lucky number!
Both of them call fizzy water (Pelegrino) "busy" water.
While getting ready to go to the airport last thanksgiving, Theo told me that when he grows up he is going to be a pilot. Vasey responded by asking, "why you want to break into people's boats and steal their money!"
Theo has wanted to be (this year) when he grows up, an excavator, a backhoe driver, a pilot, a corn farmer, a watermelon farmer, a carrot farmer and (my favorite) a mama.
Vasey wants to be a baby doctor or snow white when she grows up.
This year Theo has learned to drive a snow mobile flawlessly and has learned how to vacuum the whole house (for real, he vacuums the whole house for me whenever I ask him too)! He has made several new friends, can pack and launch a model rocket and can light a fire (preferably in the fireplace although last week he did set Ellie's ottoman a blaze!).
Vasey in the last year has gone from contolling the entire family with 10 token words to controlling the entire family and household with at least 10,000 words. She sings in the shower, loves movies and hates "spicy". She seems to have over come her biting habit, it was on her new years resolution list last year. Also she has has mastered the potty more or less.
My New Years Resolution; To be a better mama and these guys make me want to.
